God’s Word Versus The Media

President Trump is not lying when he says that the media is fake.

No matter what your political stance is, please acknowledge the fact that the mainstream media has morphed into an industry for selling the latest and greatest tall tales instead of trustworthy news stories. What used to be considered reputable sources for information now leave their audiences questioning their every word. In times such as this, who are we to believe? Who can we trust to tell us the truth?

“Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”
-2 Peter 1:20-21

Well, God gave us a huge book to go by. In fact, if you really dive deep into its contents, the Bible speaks of controversial topics going on in today’s society and how we should go about dealing with them. The Bible tells us how nations can prosper, and how they can fail. The Bible tells us that Satan will attempt to deceive the world with false information, and that we should hold fast to God’s Word when lies run rampant. You know, that kinda sounds like the world we’re living in today.

The Bible wasn’t conjured up by man, so it’s not just a book with 66 distinct mini-books full of interpretations from random guys. Yes, the Bible was penned by men, but God instructed them in what to write. I’m entirely convinced that if the Bible was solely written from the minds of men, if Christianity and God were made up aspects of religion, that they would’ve been completely banned a long time ago. I mean, look how the mainstream media is portraying Christians today. If it’s just a made up religion, how is it still going strong? How are Christians experiencing miracles every single day against adversity? Because God’s got our backs, that’s why.

Sorry, I went off on a tangent XD .

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”
-2 Timothy 3:16

Okay, so we’ve established that the Bible comes from God. God created this world a long, long time ago. The first humans were Adam and Eve, who disobeyed God and brought sin into the world. Therefore, God sent His Word to guide us through this wicked world, and to lead us to His one and only Son, Jesus Christ. According to this verse, God’s Word–The Holy Bible–is designed to be a source of news for us. The Bible’s purpose is to instruct us with its infallible doctrine, to correct us when we’re wrong, and to lead us to righteousness. That is literally the purpose of it, and I don’t know about y’all, but it has never once led me wrong or lied to me. Now, consider your local news stations, the national news stations, Twitter and Facebook feeds, etc. I could probably name at least a dozen lies I’ve seen¬†within the last hour. The mainstream media no longer cares about truth or accuracy, nor do they care how many lives they harm for the sake of making a profit.

You know what God gave up to reveal the truth to us? He gave us His Son. His Son died to save us from our sins, and yet people are willing to believe a national news source instead of the Bible. Just think about that.

Goodnight everyone, and God bless!

An Open Letter to Our Next President

Dear Madam or Mister President,

As a millennial, a soon to be college graduate, and a Christian, I have been keeping a close eye on this election on the basis that the outcome will either benefit or detriment my transition into adulthood. To be quite honest, America’s current state seems to be becoming more and more like a dystopian novel with each passing day. Criminals are claimed to be innocent, while the innocent are claimed to be criminals. Instead of turning the other cheek when we get offended, we now sue one another for monetary gain for the most asinine reasons. God, Jesus, and Salvation are considered controversial subjects only mentioned by “religious bigots” who are only out to “brainwash” others with their “close-minded” thinking. A nation that was founded on religious freedom is now only allowing freedom for religious groups that denounce God, Jesus, and Salvation. We live in a country that considers it cool to register your religion as “Jedi”, but horrific if you so much as pray to God on a football field after a game. Madam or Mister President, I’m not asking you to grant my wish to fix all of these things while you’re in office; I’m simply asking you to look to God for guidance, and not act solely based on left-wing or right-wing agendas.

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.”

-Proverbs 14:34

My favorite past president, Ronald Reagan, famously stated, “If we ever forget that we are one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under.” Oh, I bet former President Reagan is rolling in his grave as you presidential candidates are fighting like this election is one big reality show. You focus on tweets. You focus on past accusations. You focus on wigs. You know what I’ve heard very little about during the presidential debates? How you’re¬†going to make America a GOD FEARING NATION again. As of right now, America’s on its way under. The more we adhere to and legalize the foundations of sin, the further we will fall. Madam or Mister President, do you want to see us crumble completely, or do you want to build us up, to truly make us great again? Well, the only possible way to do that is to lift America’s burden off your shoulders, and to place it in the hands of our Almighty and very capable God.

“If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
-2 Chronicles 7:14

The key thing to remember here is that we as a nation, and you as a leader must humble yourself before God in order to help our country prosper again. This doesn’t mean that Hillary is the supreme queen or that Donald is the reigning king. This means that you will seek guidance from the Lord, not from Congress. This means that you will bring prayer back to public places, not incorporate more safe spaces. This means that you will promote godly media more than that of sinful content. You will treat your neighbors as yourself. You will lead others to righteousness instead of encouraging one another to turn away from God. As President, if you truly want to make an (let’s be honest, GOOD) impact on America, you will allow God to take your place as the leader of the free world, and you will allow Him to guide your actions as commander and chief.

Goodnight, and God bless!

Let’s Start a Love Riot

In the midst of all of the people who have spoken about the race riots in America, Benjamin Watson is the only one who has made total sense.

Last night, as I was watching The Kelly File with my family, we were appalled at the mass destruction going on in Charlotte, NC due to the race riots that have been going on for the majority of the week. ¬†We saw videos of rioters setting things on fire, writing expletives on police cars, and fighting one another. ¬†I was beginning to think that society couldn’t get any worse than the tensions currently going on in our country, but then Watson appeared on the screen, offering a message of hope to Americans:

“Obama can’t save us. ¬†Mrs. Clinton can’t save us. ¬†Mr. Trump can’t save us. ¬†The only one who can change the heart of man is the Lord.”
-Benjamin Watson

The issue in America right now isn’t solely a police brutality issue, a race issue, or any other controversial issue that one can fathom up. The paramount issue in America, the issue that will always set the undertone for all of the other problems America is going through, is that we need to rely on God and not on America.

Let’s put faith in God, not the government.

Whenever there’s an issue within America, to whom do we turn? ¬†Well, the list could go on for miles: ¬†news stations, local government, state government, court systems, federal government, the U.S. Supreme Court, etc. ¬†And what do we get when we turn to America’s many systems of “aid”? ¬†Short-term, band-aid fixes that will eventually cave in on themselves. ¬†Because wrongs are not truly redeemed but are stamped with “guilty or not guilty” or “lawful or unlawful”, lessons are not learned. ¬†Inevitably, history will repeat itself, just as we are currently witnessing with the police versus Black Lives Matter riots across the nation. ¬†The only way to redeem our wrongs as a nation, to forgive one another for past transgressions, and to bring a sense of peace to America is to seek guidance from one source: ¬†God.

“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;¬†For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.¬†For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;¬†Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”
-1 Timothy 2:1-4

Let’s seek Jesus as our method for peace, not protests.

Just as Americans turn to the American government and media in their times of need, they turn to riots and protests when they are let down. ¬†Earlier, I mentioned that if we as Americans, (or any nation to be honest), seek guidance from earthly means, we will inevitably be disappointed with the outcome. ¬†Likewise, if we turn to riots and protests in order to “bring peace” to our nation, we will again fail miserably. ¬†Posting pictures supporting the police doesn’t bring peace to our nation. ¬†Protesting in the streets and destroying everything in our paths won’t bring peace, either. ¬†Just as there is only one source for guidance, there is only one source for peace, and that is through Jesus Christ.

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
-John 16:33

This world is a vessel filled with evil, and people who believe that we’re doomed to be stuck in this wasteland. ¬†The truth is that we don’t have to be confined to the horrid nature of this world, for in accepting Jesus Christ as our source of peace, as the Savior of our nation, we will have a life of joy in Heaven to look forward to after our time in this world ends. ¬†So, will you join me in putting our differences aside, and loving one another as our brothers and sisters in Christ instead of siding with a certain team, as if humanity were a sports rivalry?

Let’s start a LOVE RIOT! ¬†Let’s LOVE one another as Christ LOVES us!

“Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.”
-Isaiah 60:18

Goodnight and God bless!

In light of the mass shooting that took place over the weekend in Orlando, Florida, I would like to take this opportunity to dedicate this week’s blog post to counter posts on various social media websites that I have seen this weekend. ¬†The posts I have seen have declared that due to the fact that Christians “hate” LGBT individuals, that we are hypocrites for praying for the victims of the tragedy. ¬†Additionally, I have come across one post in particular that openly denies that prayer will solve anything. ¬†My main intention for this post is to make it clear to nonbelievers that the Bible’s teachings about sexual immorality and prayer have absolutely nothing to do with the attack on Orlando; rather, the growing presence of worldwide sin is what triggered this massacre.

Fallacy #1: Christians Hate the LGBT Community

As a Christian who has had a few friends who have declared that they either support or are members of the LGBT community, I can say that I do not hate them for their choices. ¬†Once I have discovered that we have opposing viewpoints on the lifestyle, I choose to avoid the subject because I know that telling them that sexual immorality of any kind is a sin will only make them think God is full of hate. ¬†Nevertheless, I still do not support the lifestyles of the LGBT community, nor do I water down the gospel for the sake of political correctness and tolerate the sinful policies this nation has been instituting for the sake of this group. ¬†The Bible clearly states in 1 Timothy 1:10, “The sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine…”. ¬†Therefore, just as I do not support the other sins that are mentioned in the above verse and work to not commit those sins, I do not support or participate in the LGBT lifestyle.

Now that I’ve explained my point-of-view on the issue, in relation to the attack on Orlando, I will say that both parties (i.e., the gay nightclub that was attacked and the shooter) were participating in sinful actions. ¬†Despite this, I know that God would not call for the mass-murder of LGBT individuals at the hand of an Islamic terrorist, nor do I think that God would destroy the LGBT community out of their disobedience, such as Sodom and Gomorrah in the Old Testament. ¬†In the New Testament, Jesus declared that sin would prevail in the end times, and I believe that this past weekend’s shooting was no exception of the trials and tribulations the world will face in the years to come.

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.”
-2 Timothy 3:1

Therefore, Christians are not blaming the LGBT victims of the shooting for bringing the massacre upon themselves, meaning that we sympathize with the surviving victims and the families of those who are lost.  The thing is, Christians sympathize best through praying.

Fallacy #2: Prayer Won’t Solve Anything

When events of mass destruction occur that produce large death tolls, people need somewhere to place their concerns. ¬†Posting on social media, protesting in the streets, or holding a press conference and blaming the incident on our nation’s lack of gun control will not effectively alleviate the pain and suffering the victims and families are going through. ¬†Anything we try to do on our own is futile. ¬†The only being that has ever lived that can truly heal our pain is Jesus Christ. ¬†By talking to Him, we cast our burdens on Him and are renewed in knowing that He will make all things better in His time. ¬†The thing is, many people pray only when they come across a traumatic event in their life, and then wonder why God won’t act immediately to answer their request. ¬†When their prayers aren’t answered, they say that God isn’t listening, or deny His existence altogether. ¬†I’m a firm believer that a relationship with God takes daily faith. ¬†You can’t deny His existence daily and then come crawling back to Him for a few select days when you need something. On the contrary, if you are living for God everyday and talk to Him regularly, your faith can cause extraordinary things to happen by the power of God.

¬†“And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
-Matthew 17:20

You see that?  NOTHING shall be impossible unto you.

If you say praying doesn’t work, it’s because you lack faith. ¬†If you lack faith, then you don’t truly believe. ¬†If you don’t believe, and by the end of this post you still have no desire to seek God, then I hope you have a wonderful day. ¬†You see, I’m not going to attack nonbelievers for not believing in God; I just expect the same kind of respect in return.

My final response to the anti-prayer posts:

God is not to blame for the shooting in Orlando, nor any of the shootings that have taken place over the last few years. ¬†Christians are not hypocrites of their faith for praying for the victims, but are exercising their faith so that God will intervene in the situation and produce righteous results. ¬†Anything people post against the power of God or the power of prayer will not diminish the presence or capabilities of either force. ¬†The real enemy we are facing, the true source of evil that caused the massacre, is the sin of murder that was inspired by a terrorist group. ¬†So don’t blame God, blame his enemy: Satan.

Good day, God bless, and continue to pray not only for Orlando, but for all the nations of this world that are suffering from terrorism.

Political Parties Won’t Save Us

Donald Trump.  Hillary Clinton.  Ted Cruz.  Bernie Sanders.

These names keep popping up on television, social media, and roadside signs throughout the United States, as if they are actually supposed to mean something.  New advertisements for their presidential campaigns air constantly, each addition to their arsenal more degrading and fabricated than the last.  National news stations, as well as campaign supporters throughout the country have taken to advocating specific candidates, spewing all of their faith into their favorite, and judging anyone who has the audacity to choose another candidate.  Before the primaries began, I behaved in the aforementioned way, sharing posts from my favorite candidates on social media websites, thinking that if the two of them ran together and would get elected, our country would be a better place.

When my favorite candidates (Dr. Ben Carson and Mike Huckabee, if you’d really like to know) dropped out of the race due to poor poll results, my hopes sank. ¬†The remaining candidates that we are being offered exhibit little of what I saw in the character of my favorite prospects: a fire for God that would not be extinguished by the PC Patrol of Washington D.C. ¬†Before Carson and Huckabee ended their campaigns, I thought that they would be infallible if they ended up running as a President and VP combo; however, their promises were not even stable enough to keep them in the race.

Nevertheless, I’m not composing this blog post to bash presidential candidates (former or current), or political parties. ¬†Neither am I going to try to convince you who you should vote for. In all honesty, I have absolutely no idea who I will be supporting come November. ¬†Instead, I’m going to share a little secret with you about the presidential election, one that is glaringly obvious, yet overlooked by the vast majority of voters:

Political parties cannot and will not save us.

That’s right folks, it’s as simple as the eight words listed above: ¬†Republicans, Democrats, or Independents do not have the ability to save the United States from caving in economically, socially, or morally. ¬†Candidates, no matter how extensive their backgrounds are in the realm of politics, cannot restore the United States to its former glory. ¬†The reality is that no matter who gets elected as the next leader of the free world, the entire world¬†is still being judged by the¬†omnipotent God who created it, and the well-being of our nation depends on how well we strive to abide by His commandments.

Cue laughing from naysayers, but if the Bible says it, I believe it.  And boy, does the Bible say it!

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.”
-Psalm 33:12

First and foremost, this verse pretty much says it all: nations are blessed when they put God first, and He will honor their commitment. ¬†Flashback to the Evangelistic surge of the 1950s, where Americans embraced the teachings of God after World War II. ¬†Now picture the United States today, where the percentage of citizens who identify as followers of Jesus Christ drops with each passing year. ¬†Correspondingly, our nation’s prosperity drops as well, evident in the ever-increasing budget deficit, surge of racial wars, and rapid depletion of moral character. ¬†In the 1950s, America experienced prosperity, bouncing back tenfold from the hardships of the World Wars the nation participated in during the first half of the century. ¬†Though some historians attribute the nation’s overall success to the increase in manufacturing and home construction, I hate to tell them, but the housing market collapsed itself a few years back. ¬†So, what is holding back America from becoming great again?

“Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.”
-Proverbs 14:34

Politicians of any party can easily lay the blame on guns, over-exposure to sexual content, warfare, global warming, excessive spending, or countless other ludicrous points of interest, while they are ignoring the heart of every issue that is rotting our nation to the core: sin. ¬†As stated in the verse before, sin is a reproach to any people, including a nation that was founded on religious freedom, the majority of which remains Christian. ¬†However, instead of standing up for what the Bible tells us to be true, large numbers of self-identified Christians have ignored God’s commandments and have in turn sided with the teachings of man. ¬†From legalizing sinful actions such as abortion and same-sex marriage, to stripping away the religious freedoms for Christians, it is no wonder that the United States is on the verge of turmoil.

“But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.”
-Titus 3:9

One of the most notable reasons why political debates are oftentimes considered entertaining to watch is due to the fact that the candidates verbally assault one another while debating over the policies and laws they think will best aid the United States. ¬†Obviously they think that their ideals are the best things for us, or else they wouldn’t be running for office, even if their proposed plans are anything but intelligible. Be that as it may, the majority of politicians are quick to forget that a rule book of laws was written for us long before they stepped foot on this earth. ¬†That rule book, God’s Holy Word, contains the only ideals that will help not only this country, but any country thrive. ¬†So much time has been wasted arguing about domestic policies, environmental policies, and tax reform, when the answers have been stashed away in the¬†Bible collecting dust for decades. ¬†God gave us the answers, and until someone acknowledges the truth in His Word, He will not allow us to prosper as a nation.

“And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?

And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.

¬†But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.” -Matthew 12:25-28

Furthermore, if our nation’s politicians -our appointed rulers- cannot agree upon issues, the nation will inevitably be divided against itself. ¬†Constantly the news airs reports of Republicans speaking against Democrats and vice versa, as well as politicians within the same parties tearing one another down with hateful accusations. Additionally, if candidates are against the teachings of God’s Word, how can they rid our country of the hindrances of sin? ¬†As stated in Matthew 12:26, “If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?”, meaning you can’t advocate sin and want to get rid of it at the same time. ¬†However, if someone were to “cast out devils”, vis-a-vis sin in accordance to God’s Word, our nation could thrive again. ¬†Therefore, we will not be able to stand much longer unless we agree to disagree on the pointless policies, and focus on how to restore our faith in God.

”¬†Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.”
-Acts 5:29

In essence, political parties, individual politicians, and the arguments both of any sort spawn are never going to fix the immense amount of problems that the United States, as well as the world, are facing. ¬†By continually placing faith in mere men to make decisions to best prosper our nation, we are not allowing Jesus, nor His father, to be the King of Kings and lead us to righteousness. ¬†The only way to restore our nation to its former glory is to do as Peter and the apostles realized in Acts 5:29, “we ought to obey God rather than men.” ¬†In the end, there will be a winner of the 2016 Presidential Election here in the United States. ¬†Nevertheless, there is a God in Heaven who is judging the decisions made here, and who will reward us only according to our obedience to him, not the future President.

Good day, and God bless!

Biblical Women Versus Modern Feminism

“Feminism is for everyone!”

“Modesty equals oppression!”

“Smash the patriarchy!”

These phrases, along with¬†countless others, have become the mantra of modern feminism. ¬†Feminism, for those who are unaware, has been a controversial topic of global discussion throughout the past few years, arising to combat the “war on women”. ¬†Defined, feminism means, “the advocacy of women’s rights on the grounds of political, social, and economic equality to men”, which at first glance seems like something that everyone should advocate. ¬†I mean, who doesn’t want equal rights?

But, upon taking a deeper look into the ideologies of modern feminism, I have decided that it is a frightening mindset, in which I cannot bring myself to support.

I’m not a misogynist, a bigot, or sexist.

In fact, I’m a young woman myself.

So, the question on the table is why don’t I support feminism, even though I am a woman? ¬†Well, let’s go back and review the opening quotes:

“Feminism is for everyone!”

“Modesty equals oppression!”

“Smash the patriarchy!”

Over the past few years, I’ve been addicted to Pinterest. ¬†From time to time, I like to review the quotes feed of the website to browse for Bible verses, quotes about writing, or inspirational quotes from people I admire. ¬†Lately, every time I log in, quotes advocating feminism are plastered everywhere. ¬† However, the quotes aren’t always as innocent as they appear above; in fact, they are oftentimes crass and support ideals of misandry, meaning the hatred or dislike of men. ¬†I have read comments on various posts, on Pinterest and elsewhere, where feminists have claimed to hate men in general because they rape, control, and oppress females. ¬†Now, I’m not saying that some men don’t rape, control or oppress women, for they obviously do. ¬†Nevertheless, the actions of those men¬†do not give feminists the right to verbally assault the entire male population. ¬†You see, modern feminism isn’t driving to aid everyone; if it implied¬†equal rights for everyone, it would be called egalitarianism.

Despite the apparent hypocritical mindset of many feminists, the main reason why I do not support feminism is that modern feminism strongly deviates from what God says about being a biblical woman in the Bible.  While surfing Pinterest this past weekend, I came across the following quote, advocating feminism:

“I continue to be amazed when I see Christian women defending a Bible that denigrates women.” -Seth Andrews

Upon reading this quote, I laughed to myself.  Obviously Mr. Andrews has not taken the time to fully grasp the content of the Bible, especially what God has to say about biblical women.  You see, people who state that the Bible denigrates women take verses out of context, therefore framing the verse to mean something that is not true.  For example, below is one verse that is often framed as a misogynistic view from the Bible:

¬†“Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.” -Colossians 3:18

Modern feminism wants us to believe that the Bible is a product of misogyny because wives are asked to submit to their husbands, as stated in the aforementioned verse from the book of Colossians. ¬†By itself, this verse makes it seem as if men are supposed to rule over women with an iron fist. ¬†However, the naysayers neglect to seek out further understanding of the verse than what they are¬†coming up with on their own. ¬†Let’s take a look at a verse that expands upon the act of submitting:

“Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives.” -1 Peter 3:1

In this verse, wives are asked to submit to their husbands in order to relay the Word of God to them, not to be controlled or manhandled by their husbands. ¬†So, in reality, God is giving the woman of the household a great deal of responsibility in entrusting them to be a Godly influence in their husband’s life, not bashing the rights of women.

Additionally, the following verse is also often overlooked, even though it immediately follows the verse that is criticized for the request of submission from wives:

“Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.” -Colossians 3:19

God does not ask men to be the supreme ruler over their wives, but to love them as Christ loves His bride, the Church.

Furthermore, in contrast to the accusation that the Bible states that all women should be housewives, let’s take a look at this shout-out to the single lifestyle:

“There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.” -1 Corinthians 7:34

God knows that some women don’t necessarily need a husband, just like some men don’t need a wife. ¬†However, He doesn’t bash the concept of marriage, unlike some modern feminists who believe that marriage is synonymous with confinement.

Lastly, I would like to point out that Proverbs 31 dedicates an entire section to describe what a godly woman is like. ¬†While I’m not going to rehash the entire section below, here are some highlights:

¬†She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.¬†She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.” -Proverbs 31:16-17

¬†She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.” -Proverbs 31:20

“Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.¬†She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.¬†She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.¬†Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.” -Proverbs 31:25-28

Modern feminism often makes the argument that the Bible teaches against women’s rights. ¬†However, as you can see above, that argument is anything but valid. ¬†Proverbs 31 depicts biblical women as strong, hardworking women who are willing to help the needy and aim to see their families thrive. ¬†Godly women are depicted as wise, kind, and adored by their families. ¬†All of these traits are virtuous, and are celebrated in women around the world today. ¬†Modern feminism on the other hand does not advocate biblical virtues, but instead worldly actions such as sleeping around, dressing immodestly, submitting to no one (including God), abortion, etc.

Being a woman myself, I am all for equal rights for women.  I believe that we should be able to vote in elections, and we can.  I believe that we should receive equal pay as our male counterparts, and some of us do, though this is still an issue throughout the world. I believe that a woman should not have to worry about being raped or abused by males. Nevertheless, I will not support a movement that is geared towards defiling men, supporting sin, and blaspheming the word of God.  Instead, I choose to be a Proverbs 31 woman, seeking to please God in all that I do.

Goodnight, and God bless!
